Thank you for taking the time to read this post even if you can't help.Īll I am looking for is the name of the file that starts linux mint loading.įor eg back in the day. If so dose anyone know where this file is and what it is called in mint? Also how to it add said fill to Opencore to boot directly from it? Can't I just point Opencore to the same file to load mint? Is there a way to add Mint to Opencore? with out going thought grub or seeing the grub screen?Īfter all grub must just locate a file somewhere in mint and execute it. If I press F12 on boot and boot from nvme drive them grub screen loads and I can boot Linux. But NONAME loads grub screen and will not boot linux. If I click on Mac OS or Windows they boot fine from Opencore. I tried Adding Misc -> BlessOverride -> \EFI\ubuntu\grub圆4.efi in my ist and I get all 3 icons (although mint shows as NONAME but I am sure i can fix that). Is there a way to add Linux Mint to opencore boot screen.? All I am looking for is 3 icons 1 mac OS, 1 Windows, 1 Mint. So on the nvme drive I installed windows 10 and linux mint. But it installed no problem to the sata ssd drive (everything works fine). I was having loads of trouble install mac OS to the nvme drive. I installed a 2tb nvme and a 1tb sata ssd. The machine only as 2 drive bays 1 nvme and 1 sata.
